What Benefits Does the Filomap Trailer Security System Provide to Businesses?
With the FİLOMAP Electronic Customs Cable and Seal System:
- You can track the real-time location of your trailers.
- You can monitor the opening and closing positions of trailer doors.
- You can view unauthorized trailer door opening locations.
- Receive instant SMS notifications in case of unauthorized trailer door openings.
- The Electronic Customs Seal System works in integration with the Ministry of Transport’s customs system.
- The electronically generated seal number is monitored both by the fleet owner and the Ministry of Transport.
- Since the electronic seal number replaces the standard customs seal, using the electronic customs seal device eliminates the cost and hassle of obtaining a standard customs seal for every loading and customs operation.
- The electronic customs cable can also be used with a standard customs seal when needed; no separate cable system is required.
- Load theft
- Human trafficking
- Goods smuggling
- Truck robberies
- When an authorized person closes the trailer door and generates a seal number, if the electronic cable system is tampered with or cut before reaching the next authorized person or location, a loud alarm is triggered and an instant SMS notification is sent.
- This allows you to have precise time and location data for any unauthorized interventions on your trailers.
- This security measure acts as a deterrent against thieves and malicious drivers attempting to place illegal cargo or passengers on your trailers.
- Continuous tracking of your trailers and cargo, including routes followed.
- Cost savings from eliminating manual seal usage, as a new electronic seal number can be generated for every loading and customs operation.
- Continuous monitoring of your cargo by the Ministry of Transport’s customs system.

How Does Filomap Work?
The Filomap Electronic Customs Seal and Tracking Device:
- Is installed on trailer doors.
- Is used in conjunction with the special electronic customs cable.
- The electronic seal device includes a cable input and a door sensor. These inputs and sensors record the door’s opening and closing events in the system.
- When the ends of the cable are connected to the inputs, a special electronic signal passes between them. Any tampering—such as cutting, breaking, or attempting a short circuit—disrupts or breaks the signal. If the signal is interrupted or altered, the instant notification and alarm system is triggered.
- Real-time location data, along with door opening and closing positions and timestamps, are recorded by the system via the GPS receiver.
- Unauthorized operations are also recorded with their exact time and location.
